Ecotourism

The Berry Islands Summer School Youths take the lead in an island-wide cleanup and beautification. Their goal is to encourage the community to protect their environment from degradation. The day ends with a beach picnic.

This event is organized by community leaders to encourage exercise for maintaining healthy bodies, and to clean up harmful debris from the beaches to preserve their pristine beauty. Numerous groups comb the beaches for plastic, cans and other refuse items that are harmful to humans, beach, and sea life. After that, there is a fun picnic with eats, drinks, and games.

The Fun, Run Walk starts from R. N. Gomez School in Bullock's Harbour, ending at Dannenberg Beach. Prizes are given to the top three winners in each category.
