The Bannerman Town Festival is a great time for friends, family, and visitors to come out on the weekend and have a great time.
There will be delicious native food, ice-cold beverages, desserts, live entertainment, and games.

Local residents and visitors from other islands come together to interact and enjoy cultural activities, Bahamian music, food, drinks and games.

The purpose of this event is to foster a closer relationship with the descendants and the community of James Cistern. Activities include live band performances, cultural show, miss and little miss beauty pageant, Bahamian food and drinks.

This event attracts domestic and international tourists. Some of the activities include Junkanoo rush-out, live band performances, fashion/cultural show, and native dishes.

This festival was designed to bring nationals and visitors to Wemyss Bight to celebrate and reminisce about bygone days. It features talent shows, Bahamian food and drinks, live band performances and local crafts. 

Year after year the quaint Sandy Point settlement brings their community together to host their annual homecoming that takes place over a three-day period, drawing many local and domestic visitors to their side of the island. The event brings about the true island cultural feel, featuring great Bahamian foods and music and lots of exciting and interactive activities.

This event symbolizes the uniting of the community and provides an opportunity for former residents to return home. Highlights will be cultural shows and live entertainment featuring local Rake and Scrape bands.

The venue is located five miles from the San Andros Airport.
