National Family Island Regatta
There will be five days of sailing featuring Bahamian native sloops – Classes A, B, and C. This tradition started in 1954 and today it is one of the oldest regattas in The Islands of The Bahamas.
There will be five days of sailing featuring Bahamian native sloops – Classes A, B, and C. This tradition started in 1954 and today it is one of the oldest regattas in The Islands of The Bahamas.
The event begins with a Church Service on July 6, hosted by Local Government.
A number of cultural activities will take place, including local Rake & Scrape music, an old-timer's fashion show, and much more, including a boat race that is the highlight of the event.
The venue is located 10 miles from the Congo Town Airport.
This annual event features Class 'C' sprig sailing races and a church service.
The Bimini Homecoming committee always succeed at oranging another spectacular Island Homecoming event. Where family, friends, and vistors from everywhere can come back to place they can call home Bimini and enjoy a variety of games, food ,drinks and music. The Bimini Men's for Christ team also host that Good Friday celebration in which there is a service at the Bimini Craft Center Alice Town.
