Spanish Wells Fisherman’s Festival

This annual festival is designed to spotlight Spanish Wells' fishing industry and enhance the visitor experience with authentically Bahamian exhibits.  It features fun fishing tournaments; delicious food and drinks for purchase: seafood dishes like lobster thermidor, conch and rice, conch salad, conch fritters and fried fish, and local sweets such as homemade coconut ice cream, coconut pies, guava duff and more; live entertainment; games including hoopla and darts; and vendors will be offering locally made shell jewelry. The event culminates with a fireworks display. Venue is the island of Spanish Wells, North Eleuthera.
