This holiday marks the end of the Easter cycle and the beginning of public witness of the Christian church. It is the Monday after Whit Sunday, The Feast of Pentecost, which comes 50 days after Easter.

This annual reunion for former residents of Salina Point, Acklins, features four days of daytime and nighttime activities, beginning with a Float Parade from the Spring Point Airport to the settlement of Salina Point. There will be live entertainment, Bahamian Singers, dancing, a fashion show, plus Little Miss and Big Miss Salina Point Beauty Pageants. The festivities close out with a church service on Sunday. Venue is the Salina Point Public Park.

All of the communities in Acklins gather for a family fun day of games, rides and live music. Local foods and drinks will be for sale. Proceeds from raffle ticket books will support the Red Cross. The fair is held every year on Whit Monday, beginning at 12:00 noon.
The residents of Crooked Island and Long Cay organize a Pot Luck family fun day, with games, a grill out and other social activities.
A spectacular Bahamian street festival with the sounds of goat skin drums, horns, whistles, cow bells, dancers and bright dazzling costumes. Food will be on sale: boiled fish, boiled chicken, stewed fish and conch, Johnny cake, coconut cake.
Festivities include an all-night church service on Sunday leading into Monday, an old-fashioned "Singspiration" and cookout.
This annual sailing competition features a variety of festive activities, in addition to the racing with Class C sloops. There will be a float parade from the airport to the Regatta Park, bus tours throughout the island, boat curing, boat riding with performances by Bahamian artists and other activities on board, a fashion show, beauty pageant, local food and drinks for sale, fun and games for the entire family - such as plaiting of the pole, climbing the greasy pole - and contests like conch cracking, bark beating, dancing and much more, plus an award ceremony and skippers' party.
This annual reunion for former residents of Lovely Bay, Acklins, includes an all-day cookout, games, and live entertainment, closing out with an old-fashioned church program.
