This is a fundraising event, in support of the annual Acklins Regatta, to be held July 29-August 1, 2016.

Goombay Jamboree By The Sea is a cultural event which features authentic Bahamian arts and crafts, music, dance, food, drinks, souvenirs, kiddies corner and water sports. This event is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m.

Games are played every Saturday and Sunday from March to November

The Music, Model and Talent Showcase of the Islands (Island MMTS) is an exclusive event where international agents and industry executives journey to The Bahamas to scout entertainment, acting and modeling talent from the Caribbean region.

Island MMTS brings together top industry professionals from across the globe, whose business is to identify and develop future stars!

This weekend features the ninth annual running of the marathon, half marathon, and 4-person relay, in addition to its eighth running and partnership with the 5K Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure®. There will be an event for every fitness level, so come out and join us.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism sponsors a complimentary tea party at historic Government House in Nassau on the last Friday of each month, January through May and October and November. Hosted by various prominent Bahamian women, you can enjoy local 'bush' teas, live music, view a fashion show by Bahamian designers, and sample locally-made sandwiches and pastries. A courtesy shuttle is provided from all hotels for visitors wanting to attend.
