Junkanoo Summer Festival

The Second Annual Summer Goombay Festival came to a close on Saturday, August 20, and was dubbed by Director of Tourism for Grand Bahama, Betty Bethel -- “a success.”

 Just one week after the grand finale of Goombay Summer Festival in Freeport, the Ministry of Tourism launched its Junkanoo Summer Festival in West Grand Bahama.

Coming off of the heels of Goombay Summer in July, the Ministry of Tourism will shift into gear for the launch of the highly anticipated Junkanoo Summer Festival in August.
