The Islands Of The Bahamas Receive "Destination Of The Year" Award At CCRA Power Solutions National Conference

NEW YORK – The Islands of The Bahamas were presented with the “Destination Of The Year” award at the 2nd Annual CCRA Power Solutions National Conference held February  6-9, 2020, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center  at National Harbor in Oxon Hill Maryland, near Washington, D.C.

Dornell Watson-Dean, Senior Business Development Manager with the Bahamas Tourist Office New York, based in the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area, was on hand to receive the prestigious award on Saturday evening at a Power Partner Awards Gala sponsored by Marriott International. Awards were presented for an array of accomplishments and achievements in the travel industry for various categories.

The Bahamas Tourist Office teamed up with the British Colonial Hilton Nassau to participate in the the Travel Trade Conference, which connected 300-plus travel advisors from the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean to more than 90 suppliers. Travel advisors came to seek out new connections, partnerships, tools, and services to help their businesses thrive.
