The Christmas Village at Arawak Cay is a fantastic event in that we get to Rake N Scrap in the Christmas with our visitors. We are also showcasing a different Junkanoo group each night. Think of it as a preview for what is to come on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day during our annual Junkanoo parades. If you are in Nassau in December join us for some good Bahamian food and entertainment,” Director General in the Ministry of Tourism Joy Jibrilu said.

On Tuesday, the Christmas Village will feature the Defence Force Marching Band, the Urban Renewal Pop Band, a selection from the Eva Hilton Primary School and CCAMI liturgical dancers and the Rahming Brothers. The night will end with an electrifying rushout from the Genesis Warhawks.
