Rosewood Opens At Baha Mar
Baha Mar is complete now that Rosewood, a luxury offering in Western New Providence, has officially opened its doors on May 22.
Dubbed ‘the crown jewel’ of the multi-billion dollar resort complex on Cable Beach, Rosewood joins prestigious hotel brands Grand Hyatt and SLS.
Rosewood, which boasts 185 rooms and suites along with a collection of five four-bedroom beachfront villas, features exclusive services and its own private pools.
Officials say the goal of Rosewood is to present unique experiences.
Bahamas Minister of Tourism and Aviation Dionisio D’Aguilar said Rosewood is the completion of a dream for The Islands Of The Bahamas.
“This particular brand will attract the premium visitor who will pay the highest dollar to get the premium service with this wonderful facility. This is the type of customer any destination would strive to have,” he said.
The property will also include Sense, a Rosewood Spa, with a focus on “island-inspired” signature treatments.
Dining concepts will include Commonwealth, a farm-to-table eatery; the Pool Grille; Bar Riva and the Library Lounge.
Other amenities will include two pools, two event areas and a fitness center. Guests will also have direct and private beach access.
President of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts Radha Arora said the Bahamian culture will be infused into every offering at the property.
“It will envelope the local sensibilities. We work with the community to portray the Bahamian culture. So that is what you will see when you arrive at the food and beverage offerings and the associates will lend their personalities and that’s the difference visitors will feel,” he said.
“When you meet the associates, it feels like they have been delivering service for a long time so the difference is the people. I am excited for our visitors to experience the Bahamian culture.”
Rosewood is already receiving a high demand for reservations and expects to welcome its first rush of guests on June 1.
President of Baha Mar Graeme Davis said while the construction of the hotel brands is complete, Baha Mar is still in the process of enhancing its offerings.
“We will continue to refine and focus with our brands to make sure that we are hitting all of our expectations. We still have more restaurants to open in a thoughtful way that doesn’t disrupt our guests. We are ever-changing to make sure that we are meeting our guests’ needs and exceeding them,” he said.
