Come on down to the Governor's Harbour Homecoming where the best Bahamian and native dishes will be served. Food such as baked macaroni, cracked conch, fried plantain and some good old peas and rice will be on sale. Each stall has something unique and flavorful.
There will be board games, live local band and performances by some of our Bahamian artists.
The event is organized by the Governor's Harbour Development Association. Funds raised assist with community projects and initiatives for the young and old.
It's a three day cultural, family oriented, fun-filled event. It embodies native dishes and old school games. It brings together the community whilst giving visitors a rich cultural experience.
This weekend of celebration kicks off on Friday evening with a concert in the park at Stuart Manor featuring national and local artists. On Saturday morning, there is a bicycle race from Ramsey to Stuart Manor, followed by a day filled with activities on the park for the whole family: bouncing castles for the kids, competitions, raffle drawing, eats and drinks, a fashion show, prizes and surprises. A church service will be held on Sunday morning and a beach picnic in the afternoon.
Join the residents of Rolle Town and experience the hospitality of the people in this reunion of family and friends and the wider community of Exuma. The weekend will be filled with activities that the whole family can participate in: lots of games, such as dominoes, hoopla, egg and spoon, sack races, old school dance, onion peeling, and conch cracking competitions, plus food and drinks will be on sale.
There will be entertainment by a DJ, a kiddies’ corner, hoopla, and punch board. Native dishes such as crab and rice, macaroni and cheese and baked chicken will be on sale.
This annual homecoming celebration for former and current residents of Cat Island feature a weekend of activities, including a church service, gospel concerts, live band performances by Bahamian recording artists, Junkanoo Rush-out, family fun and games, local food and drinks on sale. It takes place every year during the Discovery Day holiday weekend. The Venue for the Festival is the New Bight Park.

This annual reunion for former residents of Salina Point, Acklins, features four days of daytime and nighttime activities, beginning with a Float Parade from the Spring Point Airport to the settlement of Salina Point. There will be live entertainment, Bahamian Singers, dancing, a fashion show, plus Little Miss and Big Miss Salina Point Beauty Pageants. The festivities close out with a church service on Sunday. Venue is the Salina Point Public Park.

This homecoming brings the descendants of Upper Bogue back home to enjoy a weekend of fun with family and friends. Entertainment include live band performances, Bahamian music,food and drinks.
