50th Jubilee Motorcade

We are bringing in all of The Bahamas Independence celebrations during the month of July 2023.

The best way to make a noise and celebrate is to begin with a motorcade throughout the island, starting from Gregory Town in the north and ending in Savannah Sound. Our Bahamas National Anthem was written by the late Mr. Timothy Gibson from Savannah Sound, so this is a great way to end the motorcade.

Vertical Blue Dive Competition

This event flocks international divers from many different countries across the world. Divers train year round for their chance to claim a title of deepest dive in one of the top 10 wonders of world - Dean's Blue Hole (Long Island, Bahamas). Multiple local and international journalists and news agencies are on spot each year to capture the excitement and celebrations as divers take turns making those plunges into this mystifying natural wonder.

Dates are July 20th-30th and the event brings visitors from every corner of the world to witness the excitement unfold.
